Smart Phones and Spam

One of the great things about smart phones is the ability to get e-mail instantaneously. Sure there are times that you don't want to be bothered with e-mail, but airplane mode takes care of that. But how do you control SPAM on a smart phone? By having your phone tied into your e-mail, you may loose the ability to block unwanted messages.

We are using the Samsung Infuse Android phone and I have recently been overwhelmed with SPAM. My inbox fills up with a plethora of topics, none of which would even warrant opening the e-mail. What a hindrance to have to delete these messages to sort through for my real e-mails.

Working with our IT service, we discussed several of possible ways to counter this situation, but none seemed to be a real good fit. All I want is for these annoying messages to never get to me and for me to never have to do anything with them. Ala! SpamDrain. It comes with a 14 day free trial and costs $14.99 per year per e-mail address. I thought for that price, it might be worth it and after less than 24 hours on their program, I am convinced.

If you need e-mail access through your smart phone and don't want to deal with junk e-mail, check this service out at www.spamdrain.net. It works!
